Set in the stunning landscape of the hauntingly beautiful Arctic, two ferociously independent women (played by Michelle Yeoh and Michelle Krusiec) are on the run from soldiers trying to conquer their homeland.
Whilst out hunting one day, one of the women finds a stranger (Sean Bean) near to death and decides to save his life regardless of the danger this puts both women in.
The mother-adopted daughter relationship between the two women is already intense and a little strained, and although the presence of this handsome stranger poses no physical threat, it deepens the tension between them.
The threesome becomes too close for comfort in the confines of their shelter. Carnal urges and jealousy sweep us towards a compellingly gruesome and shocking finale.
