Malmesbury Film Society

The Malmesbury Film Society is a friendly group that enjoys getting together each month to watch films and chat. MFS was started in 1999 to show entertaining films in a friendly local venue for everyone in Malmesbury and the surrounding villages. We are a small non-profit society with all funds used for film and room rental costs. We are members of Cinema for All which supports local community cinema groups.

We show a wide range of engaging films – classics new and old, domestic and foreign. We aim to present unique and memorable films that you would not typically see at the bigger cinemas. About half of our shows are subtitled foreign language films that you might never have heard of but won’t forget after seeing.
