James Calver is the Project & Events Officer at the Independent Cinema Office, joining in 2017, after spending two years at the Kino-Teatr in St. Leonards-on-Sea as its Programming Manager. His role is based in the training and events team, organising industry training sessions such as Cultural Cinema Exhibition (CCE) and Developing Your Film Festival (DYFF). He is also responsible for setting up the ICO’s online learning platform. The highlight of his cinema career however came after his short appearance as an extra in a Bollywood film.
