Hayley qualified as an accountant in 2001 with Deloitte, specialising in the finance sector and subsequently joining the corporate lending arm of Royal Bank of Scotland. Following a career break to raise children, Hayley moved into the charity sector, heading up the finances of a mental health charity and a cultural arts hub before joining the ICO in 2024.
