David Williams

David Nathan Williams joined the Independent Cinema Office in 2021. In his role as Film Hub South East Officer he supports cinemas, film festivals, and film societies in reaching diverse audiences through cultural cinema, while also promoting the talent development of emerging filmmakers across the region. His involvement with BFI NETWORK projects has sparked a growing interest in script development and story assessment. Beyond the ICO, David is part of the festival team at The Shortest Nights, contributing to preselection and programming. Prior to his current role, he worked at Time Out London as part of the ecommerce team, promoting the city’s vibrant arts and culture. He studied English and Comparative Literature at Goldsmiths, University of London, with a focus on Literature & Film and European Cinema.
