Amy studied Drama and Scriptwriting at the University of East Anglia and spent the holidays working at her local indie cinema. After graduating she travelled around Australia and worked with a touring cinema before lockdown brought her back home. Isolation prompted her to complete an online course in Film Distribution and from that she found the Young Film Network (South East). She developed her own group, OPEN HOUSE film club, and over two years worked with cinemas, pubs and film festivals to build a community of young people who missed and love the cinema experience. Throughout this she worked in marketing before becoming a duty manager at Genesis Cinema in East London. Amy joined the ICO in August 2023.
