Technical Coordinator

Salary: £27,540 pro rata

EIFF is looking for a Technical Coordinator to support the Technical Manager in ensuring the seamless and efficient technical delivery of the Festival programme.

Key responsibilities include the comprehensive management of print traffic, coordination of distribution of drives across Festival venues, and precise reporting of technical and logistical information relating to both film screenings and live events.

The role is key to ensuring the smooth delivery of all screenings and events, and requires a working knowledge of Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI) standards, the ability to interpret and process both DCI and non-DCI XML files, and a clear understanding of Composition Playlists (CPLs) and Key Delivery Messages (KDMs).

Festival technical operations are both diverse and demanding. The successful candidate will be a conscientious and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in delivering to a high standard. They must demonstrate the ability to adapt swiftly within a fast-paced environment, efficiently managing assigned tasks while upholding the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism.
