Filmhouse is seeking a dedicated Hospitality Team Member to join our team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to deliver high-quality food in a fast-paced, creative environment, ensuring consistent preparation, service standards, and a positive guest experience.
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and customer-focused hospitality professional with hands-on experience in bartending and table service. Adept at creating a welcoming environment, taking and delivering orders efficiently, and preparing a wide range of beverages. Skilled in multitasking in fast-paced settings while maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness. Committed to enhancing guest satisfaction through friendly interactions, attention to detail, and a team-oriented approach. Eager to contribute to a dynamic team and grow within the hospitality industry.
Role details
- Full-time (though part-time positions may also be available)

Role responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and deliver exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
- Provide accurate information about menus, screenings, and venue amenities.
- Efficiently take and serve food and beverage orders in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain clean and presentable tables and service areas throughout the shift.
- Prepare and serve drinks while ensuring quality, consistency, and proper presentation.
- Verify customer identification in compliance with Scottish licensing regulations.
- Operate tills and process payments with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are upheld in all guest and staff areas, including restrooms and seating zones.
- Assist with general cinema operations, including ushering, ticket sales, and responding to customer inquiries.
Person specifications
Essential
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, especially evenings and weekends.
Desirable
- Experience in hospitality or customer service.
- Knowledge of food and drink service.
