Bar Manager

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Genesis is looking for a Bar Manager to join their team.

Job Purpose

To ensure the smooth running of the 150x capacity bar which caters to general release cinema guests and high volume events in screen and within the bar itself. Offering a wide range of products from local beers and spirit to amazing wines and the most vibrant cocktails our bar is a hub of excitement and entertainment every night of the week with the Bar Manager at the center.

Key responsibilities and duties

• Work closely with the Event Management team to manage and facilitate over 200 events each year.
• Train staff to ensure that we offer a unified high level of customer service in line with our core family values.
• Ensure cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety procedures are met.
• Maintain the safety and security of the bar for customers and staff, including key holder responsibilities, according to company policy and relevant law.
• Manage stock levels and place orders.
• Respond to customer issues in person.
• Maintain and develop relationships with current and new local and national suppliers and partners.
• Constantly update menu to reflect current trends and tastes plus create bespoke cocktails for events and hires.
