Working with Distributors & Repertory Programming - FHSE Training 2024/25

28/10/2024

11.45am - 2.45pm

Cambridge Film Festival, Cambridge

Over the course of this year, Film Hub South East are running a series of free training sessions to support our members in their work to grow audiences for independent film in the region.

For our next event in the FHSE Training Programme 2024/25 at the Cambridge Film Festival, we’ll be joined by Becky Padley (Film Programmer, Independent Cinema Office), who will be focussing on two more of the most requested topics by members – working with distributors and how to programme repertory films.

Whether you’re new to working with distributors, or you’re looking for insight into how best to approach those partnerships, this session will re-energise your approach.

This session will be followed by a case study from the region of an organisation that has successfully programmed repertory cinema for a new audience. As a part of this session, we will also cover how you can track down those hard-to-find film licences. Attendance at the session will also allow you the chance to explore the full programme of the Cambridge Film Festival (see below).

Please see a schedule of upcoming Film Hub South East member training in 2024/25.
