About the course

The morning will comprise talks from experts in the field, including in-depth case studies of successful screenings from conception to realisation; commissioning and working with artists; and funding and partnership opportunities.

In the afternoon there will be screenings and group discussion around contexts in which selected artists’ films have been or could be shown. There will then be an opportunity to develop individual artists’ film projects that you are working on, with advice from experts on curation, practicalities, partnerships and budgets. You are asked to come to the event with an idea or budding project to work on during the day.
