ICO Screening Days - March 2008

08/03/2008 - 10/03/2008

BFI Southbank, London

Feedback

“A very enjoyable and constructive weekend. BFI staff very pleasant and helpful. Thank you to everyone – particularly ICO staff – lovely to be able to put faces to names on occasions like these.”

“Everything has been perfect: the venue, the delegate room, the programme, the lunches.”

The BFI Southbank, London once again played host to the ICO Spring Screening Days, which was our most successful event to date. This is the seventh Screening Days event organised by the ICO and over 270 people attended. Delegates relaxed and chatted on Saturday evening at the drinks reception at the National Theatre, which was kindly sponsored by Filmbank.

The event was held over the weekend of 8 – 10 March. Delegates were able to choose from 22 films and shorts programmes showing back-to-back over three screens.

Garth Jenning’s heart-warming nostalgic comedy, Son of Rambow, came out top of the audience reaction chart with 83.6% of the votes.

Evaluation report

Thank you to everyone who attended the event and for making it such an enjoyable occasion.

We appreciate all the feedback regarding the ICO Screening Days and will take it on board for the next event which will be held at the Filmhouse, Edinburgh from Saturday, 8 November to Monday, 10 November 2008.
