Open City Documentary Festival is looking for volunteers to help deliver the 13th edition of the festival in April.

Open City Documentary Festival is an annual celebration of the art of non-fiction. We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive volunteers to help us deliver our 13th edition which will take place from Wednesday 24 April – Tuesday 30 April in venues across London.

About the roles

As a festival volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to meet filmmakers and industry professionals, work alongside like-minded people, and go behind the scenes to gain hands-on experience of delivering a week-long film festival.

Volunteer roles include:

• Cinema Venue Assistant
• VR Exhibition Assistant
• Photographer
• Marketing Assistant
• Runner
• Hospitality

Volunteering dates

Shifts are available from 10-30 April.

Shifts are between 3-6 hours long. For shifts over four hours, volunteers will receive a 30-minute break. Volunteers are expected to complete a minimum of three shifts, and will not be assigned more than five shifts throughout the festival.
