Volunteer Pre-Selector

The London Vaporetto Shorts Film Festival is looking for Volunteer Pre-Selectors to help review submissions for the 2027 festival.

As part of the programming team, you will be watching and reviewing narrative short films to build the programme for this year’s festival. It’s a flexible, remote role. You can choose how many hours you are able to commit every week. This role will be from September to May.

The London Vaporetto Shorts Film Festival has been running since 2023 and focuses on UK and international emerging talents and comedy. We showcase bold, original short films with a strong focus on storytelling, craft, and creative vision.

As a Pre-Selector, you will:

• Watch films made by the next generation of filmmakers
• Have your say in which films get selected
• Be invited to attend the festival, which includes screenings, networking opportunities, industry talks and filmmaker Q&As
