Women Over 50 Film Festival is looking for volunteers to help run the next edition of their festival.
WOFFF is a volunteer-led and volunteer-run Community Interest Company where everyone is welcome.
Role details
- Volunteers are asked to commit to between 4 to 10 hours of volunteering
- The festival takes place online 5 September to 6 Octoberm and at Depot, Lewes on 13 September
- Volunteers will be given a free festival T-shirt, last-minute entry to screenings and panel events, a vegan lunch box prepared by the chefs at Depot, an opportunity to watch films online between 5th September and 6th October and travel expenses up to £10 as a thank you for their contribution.

Role responsibilities
Volunteers will help usher guests into the cinema, provide information to visitors, manage guest lists, and much more.
Person specifications
The festival is looking for volunteers who are welcoming and who have great communication skills.
This is an great opportunity to gain experience in the world of film festivals, forge new connections, meet filmmakers and make friends, all while enjoying fantastic films.

About WOFFF
The Women Over 50 Film Festival (WOFFF) promotes the work of older women in front of and behind the camera. WOFFF celebrates outstanding work by and about older women. We foster connections and conversations across generations and build a community centered around older women. WOFFF is a volunteer-led and volunteer-run Community Interest Company where everyone is welcome.
Our 2025 festival will showcase 52 brilliant, bold short films from around the world, including first-time entries from Bulgaria, Switzerland and Estonia that focus on the lives and work of older women. WOFFF filmmakers will participate in Q&A sessions after each shorts programme sharing insights about their work with the WOFFF audience.
WOFFF is a hybrid festival, with WOFFF25 Online from 5th September to 6th October, and a one-day in-person event at Depot cinema in Lewes on Saturday 13th September. Depot is an award-winning independent 3-screen cinema with a bar and kitchen and is just a 3-minute walk away from Lewes train station.
