Visitor Services Assistant – BFI IMAX

Salary: £29,526 - 30,414 (pro-rata)

The BFI is seeking a team of seasonal Cinema Hosts to play a vital role in supporting their busy front of house and cinema operations at BFI IMAX during the upcoming spring / summer blockbuster season.

Role details

• Part-time, minimum 8 hrs p/week
• Fixed-term contract until 30 Sept 2025
• This role requires some weekend and evening work
• Salary listed is full-time equivalent, this role is pro-rata

Role responsibilities

• Providing a first class welcome to all visitors to the BFI IMAX.
• Working in Front of House, ticketing, food and beverage areas to deliver an excellent level of customer service.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and quality in all areas at all times.
• Taking every opportunity to learn new skills and use initiative to improve the customer experience.
• Maximising sales opportunities in every interaction.

Person specifications

• Have previous experience in a customer facing operational role.
• Are excellent and inspiring communicators with a passion for seeking out any opportunity to engage with customers.
• Are flexible, committed and results focused, with a willingness to collaborate and work together, to take ownership of actions and get things done.
• Are passionate about film and moving image cinema.
