Salary: £22,560 p/a pro rata

Glasgow Film Festival is seeking enthusiastic individuals to assist in the coordination of their venues and the directing of their large volunteer team.

This is a fun and demanding role which would be suitable for a people-person who is looking for experience in events, festivals and the creative industries.

Glasgow Film Festival will deliver around 400 film screenings and events during February and March in venues across Glasgow. In order to help the festival run smoothly we are seeking several organised and motivated Venue Coordinators to oversee the running these venues.

You will supervise and motivate volunteers, liaise with Box Office over ticketing, meet and greet festival guests, set up events and make sure they run to schedule. The main festival venues are Glasgow Film Theatre (GFT), the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) and Cineworld on Renfrew Street, as well as our Festival Hub at DoubleTree by Hilton. Additional venues will be used for pop-up events around the city.

The Venue Coordinators will work closely with the Venues and Volunteer Coordinator, Duty Managers, as well as the rest of the festival team and festival volunteers, of which there are around 200.
