Venue Coordinator

Salary: £13.74 per hour

The Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) is looking for Venue Coordinators to work within their partner cinemas to ensure the smooth delivery of EIFF screenings and events. 

Fixed term contract, 16 August – 23 August 2023  

In 2023, in a special one-year iteration, Edinburgh International Film Festival will take place as part of the Edinburgh International Festival. EIFF’s compact and curated selection of films will be presented 18-23 August, complementing the EIF’s programme of world-class artistic activity. 

Organisationally this edition of EIFF will exist under the auspices of the Edinburgh International Festival with primary funding and support provided by Screen Scotland.  

We are seeking Venue Coordinators with experience working in a film or event related environment, preferably with Front of House experience in an arts or cultural venue. Supported by the Screenings Manager, the successful candidates will be based at Vue and/or Everyman cinemas during the Festival and will be the main point of contact on the ground between the venue and EIFF to ensure smooth delivery of programmed activity. Venue Coordinators will be confident working independently as well as managing and motivating others, with excellent communication and customer care skills and experience of successfully working to shifting schedules and priorities.
