UK Marketing Manager

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000
MUBI is a global, rapidly-growing streaming service for arthouse and independent film looking for someone to lead their marketing activity in the UK & Ireland, their biggest territory. You’ll be part of a world-class global team, based in London.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all MUBI marketing in the UK, the company’s largest market
- Set the UK Marketing strategy and priorities in coordination with VP Marketing
- Pursue, execute and develop all partnerships in the UK
- Plan and execute campaigns to spur growth in the UK (i.e. seasonal, content-based)
- Support and coordinate with the distribution team on theatrical releasing
- Support and coordinate with the MUBI GO team for the UK
- Work closely with the content team to promote the platform programming and curation
- Plan and execute events in the UK around brand building, partnerships, key moments and releases
- Support the distribution team in working with public bodies in the UK to secure funding and institutional partnerships (ie BFI, FAN, etc)
- Report on all activity on a regular basis in a consistent and useful manner
Ideal candidate:
- Passionate about arthouse and independent film
- Knowledgeable of the UK independent film sector with extensive contacts across the industry
- Experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns
- Experience in organising events
- A positive, outgoing personality to represent MUBI at events, festivals, conferences
- A desire to explore new ideas and innovation
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Experience managing small teams
- Ability to write engaging copy for email, social and other comms
- Organised and highly detail-oriented
- Happy to work occasional unsocial hours and weekends / travel for work
- Interested in analytics and relentless in pursuing data
- Able to manage a budget and use resources efficiently and savvily
