UK Marketing Manager

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000

MUBI is a global, rapidly-growing streaming service for arthouse and independent film looking for someone to lead their marketing activity in the UK & Ireland, their biggest territory. You’ll be part of a world-class global team, based in London.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all MUBI marketing in the UK, the company’s largest market
• Set the UK Marketing strategy and priorities in coordination with VP Marketing
• Pursue, execute and develop all partnerships in the UK
• Plan and execute campaigns to spur growth in the UK (i.e. seasonal, content-based)
• Support and coordinate with the distribution team on theatrical releasing
• Support and coordinate with the MUBI GO team for the UK
• Work closely with the content team to promote the platform programming and curation
• Plan and execute events in the UK around brand building, partnerships, key moments and releases
• Support the distribution team in working with public bodies in the UK to secure funding and institutional partnerships (ie BFI, FAN, etc)
• Report on all activity on a regular basis in a consistent and useful manner

Ideal candidate:

• Passionate about arthouse and independent film
• Knowledgeable of the UK independent film sector with extensive contacts across the industry
• Experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns
• Experience in organising events
• A positive, outgoing personality to represent MUBI at events, festivals, conferences
• A desire to explore new ideas and innovation
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Experience managing small teams
• Ability to write engaging copy for email, social and other comms
• Organised and highly detail-oriented
• Happy to work occasional unsocial hours and weekends / travel for work
• Interested in analytics and relentless in pursuing data
• Able to manage a budget and use resources efficiently and savvily
