An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Board of Trustees of this unique Community Art House Cinema in the heart of Ipswich.
Located in the Corn Exchange, King Street Cinema has developed a reputation as a Restoration and Revival Cinema, celebrating the best of international film across the decades. Established in 1975, the cinema will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2025 and is looking to develop its fundraising initiatives as part of its Anniversary itinerary.
We are looking to add a Fundraising Trustee to our volunteer board, to identity funding opportunities, and initiate and manage funding applications. In particular, to work with the Managing Director in putting forward an application to the Suffolk County Council Culture Project Fund to help secure King Street Cinema’s long-term cultural and financial viability.
We are looking for somebody to hit the ground running with an application to the Suffolk County Council Culture Project Fund. Therefore the ideal candidate would have experience in handling funding applications and all stages of project delivery and reporting.
