Warwick Arts Centre sits at the heart of a university campus and alongside a busy and wide-ranging artistic programme we manage and deliver graduation and conference events for the university. We are an integral part of the regional arts ecology, work closely with our local community, and aim to reflect that community in all that we do.

Over the past 2 years, we have completed and opened a new building and restated our vision and values, it is an exciting time to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a head of the technical team at Warwick Arts Centre. Are you an experienced, forward thinking, inclusive and collaborative technical manager who is dedicated to leading a customer focussed, multiskilled team to deliver the highest quality in everything you and your team do?

In this role you will provide effective technical leadership and high-quality customer experience for staff and users, be accountable for the management of the technical team, production management and the safe management and delivery of technical requirements/operations for all events on and off site.

About You

You should have experience in a similar position in a multi venue operation and have in depth knowledge of the technical requirements for a wide range of artforms, ranging from theatre through to the visual arts and corporate events and cinema. A positive, pro-active approach to people and technical management with the associated high levels of interpersonal skills are essential for this post.
