As the Senior (Head) Projection and AV Technician, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional cinema projection and audio-visual experiences. From planning to fault finding, you will supervise and allocate our dedicated staff and resources. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of digital and AV equipment, live screenings, and projection for all users of Warwick Arts Centre.

Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with Heads of Departments to allocate resources, support cross-functional teams, and ensure the smooth execution of technical requirements for our external users, both nationally and internationally. Your excellent communication skills will be instrumental in discussing and agreeing on technical needs with a diverse range of stakeholders.

With your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and testing of cinema projection, audio-visual equipment, and digital displays. Adhering to current regulations, you will ensure all equipment is in top shape and up to industry standards.

About you

If you have previous professional experience in technical theatre or cinema, a sound knowledge of digital cinema projectors, and proficiency in using audio-visual equipment for conference-style events, we want to hear from you! Additionally, you should possess excellent communication skills, IT proficiency, and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Note: This is a full-time position with the flexibility to work unsocial hours, including weekends and overnight shifts. Driving vehicles may be required, subject to compliance with our motor insurance policy. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates. The role also offers an additional 5% availability allowance in addition to the base salary.
