About the Role

The company is seeking a keen and enthusiastic individual to join our international sales team based in the UK. The Sales Manager will report to Sales & Marketing Director and will work closely with the company’s Business Affairs Manager, with an expectancy to drive forward sales for our Home Entertainment department.

The company is looking for applicants with experience of working in international film sales, and ideal candidates will bring experience and knowledge of the film industry and passion for classic films. The position will focus mainly on managing and driving forward sales of the home entertainment rights that we represent on behalf of our studio partners. Job-specific training will also be provided.

The role is open to applicants who can be part of our Glasgow or London office set ups with hybrid/remote working options available.

  • Contract: Minimum 12 months fixed term
  • Hours: Full-time
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Management of full sales pipeline
  • Timely responses to incoming enquiries
  • Proactive selling of library internationally
  • Both client and rights holder relationship management
  • Searching for and opening up new relationships with potential new licensees
  • Identifying new studio/rights holder opportunities
  • Regular forecasting and reporting
  • Management of external agents
Essential Skills & Attributes
  • Relevant sales experience and a passion for selling
  • Good film knowledge with a passion for cinema
  • Ability to make quick, effective decisions relating to sales negotiations
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Demonstrable ability to be self‐motivated, show initiative, develop new approaches and work under own direction
