The BFI is seeking a fixed-term Retail Supervisor to join their team.
We are seeking a fixed term Retail Supervisor to work as part of the retail team to ensure excellent customer service for our internal and external customers, driving sales and maximising venue, whilst also providing shop-floor cover and deputising for the Retail Manager and E-Commerce Manager as and when required.
Fixed Term Contract: until 31 March 2024
Key responsibilities include:
- To assist with the management of all online and mail orders placed through the BFI Shop & BFI Online Shop, ensuring timely dispatch, dealing with customer enquiries, processing transactions and working closely with the Online Supervisor.
- To ensure the Retail Team follows best financial practice in regards to shop finance procedures, and to assist the finance department with any queries.
- To maintain all goods inwards and goods outwards processes for BFI Retail operations, including stock deliveries, postage, merchandise, marketing & office materials and ensure the timely processing of all deliveries on a daily basis.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Experience working in a Retail or similar environment in a supervisory capacity, including using EPOS systems.
- Experience of cash handling and administration duties.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Ability to work constructively and flexibility independently and as part of a team.
