Salary: £37,374 - £44,163 per annum

The BFI is seeking a Research Manager to work alongside colleagues, internal and external, on a wide range of research development, management and delivery activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scope the screen sector research landscape to help inform the Research & Statistics Unit (RSU) and wider BFI’s research strategies, objectives and agenda
  • Disseminate key findings from research to a range of audiences in a number of forums
  • Write papers for the BFI’s lottery finance and awards committees
  • Monitor and help project manage the delivery of research programmes supported by the RSU
Skills & Experience
  • A PhD or related equivalent experience in a relevant area
  • Excellent project management skills and first-rate organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and to manage and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrable understanding of the external research funding landscape
  • Familiarity with research awards and/or commissions
