Project Manager: New Creatives North

Salary: £30,000 (£24,000 pro rata)

New Creatives is a talent development scheme that offers commissioning opportunities for emerging creatives aged between 16 and 30 to make new artistic works in film, audio or interactive media, designed specifically for BBC platforms. New Creatives is a partnership between the BBC, Arts Council England and five creative media production organisations across England that will find, nurture and showcase a diverse range of artists with the creative potential and personal drive to make exciting new work to be enjoyed by audiences across the BBC and beyond.

Tyneside Cinema is the lead organisation for New Creative in the North of England and will be commissioning 100 new pieces of film, audio and interactive work over the duration of this two-year project.

The New Creatives North Project Manager will be based at Tyneside Cinema and is a critical role within the New Creatives team providing clear, consistent and effective management across the recruitment, training and production activity of this flagship project. The role requires a highly motivated and collaborative individual with excellent skills in communication, organisation, finance and management who is able to maximise available resources to get the best results.

This is a fixed term position to 31 January 2021.
