The BFI is seeking a Project Manager to join the BFI’s Heritage 2022 (H22) team on a fixed term maternity cover contract.

BFI Heritage 22 is an ambitious, nationwide preservation and access programme. Our mission is to preserve the UK’s most significant pre-digital film, TV and moving image works so they can be safeguarded and made available for audiences today and future generations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Successfully deliver the videotape digitisation project and its outputs to time and quality.
  • Ensuring tracking and reporting meets all necessary governance, audit, quality assurance and legal requirements of the Programme.
  • Management of project plans, identifying and sequencing resources, logistics, data and activities needed to successfully complete the project.
Skills & Experience
  • Project management experience or a relevant project management qualification.
  • A confident communicator with the ability to work with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience of working with data with analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate problems, identify solutions of a practical or technical nature.

We operate a hybrid working model at the BFI. This role requires work one day a week at Berkhamsted and regular work at our hub in Stephen Street. Exact working arrangements for this role are to be agreed with the hiring manager.
