Salary: £27,285 - £31,604 per annum

The Queen’s Film Theatre is Northern Ireland’s leading independent cinema, showing a wide range of contemporary, classic and world cinema. QFT is also the lead organisation for Film Hub NI, part of the British Film Institute’s Film Audience Network.

In October 2018 Queen’s Film Theatre will celebrate its 50th Anniversary with a broad programme of events, multiple partnerships, audience development objectives and stakeholder investments. In recognition of this significant milestone, we have secured funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the British Film Institute towards this position and the programme of events celebrating the 50th Anniversary.

With Queen’s Film Theatre celebrating its 50th anniversary there is a lot of exciting activity happening, and we are looking for a passionate Project Manager who has experience in Film/Theatre or Arts and Culture.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of an exciting project and would suit someone who wants to hit the ground running and have a certain level of autonomy in the role. The right person will be able to bring fresh ideas and can have a real impact on the QFT.

Experience with public money is a must, as well as excellent communication skills and project management experience.

This post can possibly provide flexible working arrangements with one-day remote working per day however this needs to be in line with business needs and cannot be guaranteed.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant subject.
  • 3 years’ relevant experience working in a Film/Arts environment in a project management role, including funder relationships and budget management.
  • 12 months’ experience managing marketing for projects.
