Film City Futures requires a Project Manager to join the existing team delivering Short Circuit, Scotland’s hub for filmmaking talent.
We support the creative and professional development of new and emerging writers, directors, and producers.
You will be a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager, with an in-depth knowledge of the screen sector in Scotland and the UK, and experience of managing people and budgets to agreed timelines and performance indicators.
You will oversee all aspects of project delivery, focused on providing guidance and support to the Short Circuit team, and ensuring that the project runs according to agreed budgets, schedules, and contracts, reflecting the vision set out by the Steering Group.
You will line-manage the current team (Talent Executives (2), Project Co-ordinator), and ensure that the project is resourced effectively in all aspects of delivery. Connecting with filmmakers across Scotland is important to us, and you will work with new or existing regional partners to build communities and hubs for screen talent to learn and collaborate with their peers.
You will create, manage, and monitor the project budget, and oversee financial reporting and processing. Additionally, you will coordinate and chair steering group meetings, liaise with strategic partners, and monitor and coordinate reporting on performance against project KPIs.
Contract Terms: This is a 0.6 FTE (3 days per week), fixed term contract until 31st March 2024.
Reporting to: Film City Futures Director
Location: The Project Manager must be based in Scotland, primarily at Film City Glasgow. A hybrid model of in-office and homeworking is currently in place. Some travel within Scotland, the UK, and Europe, may be required.

Salary: £23,134 pro rata (based on a 0.6 FTE position at £38,556 per annum).
