Programme Planning Manager

Salary: £23,000

Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) is currently recruiting for a Programming Planning Manager, based in our Edinburgh office on Lothian Road.

The Programme Planning Manager is a senior role at the Festival and heads up the Programme Planning Team, which consists of the Programme Coordinators, the Venue Liaison Team, the Print Traffic Team, and the Ingest and QC team. Working closely with the Deputy Artistic Director, the role ensures all Festival screenings and special events run smoothly and successfully.

The ideal candidate will have a strong awareness of the UK and international film industry including UK distributors, international sales agents and public funding bodies. They will have contacts within relevant organisations and the temperament to deal with the busy day-to-day running of the Festival.

They must be completely dedicated to helping raise EIFF’s overall reputation and profile by ensuring the festival programme is organised to the highest possible standards. They will have experience of managing various teams in a busy and stressful environment and will be happy to take the lead in managing the smooth running of the EIFF Programme Planning Department.

This is a full-time fixed-term role.
