Press & PR Coordinator (Fixed Term)

Salary: £23,433- £27,414
The BFI is seeking a Press and PR Co-ordinator to support the PR activities of the Press team during the busy BFI London Film Festival period.
This is a hands on role which will require the successful candidate to provide specific administrative and public relations support to the press office, including monitoring press coverage and the press team budget. This includes project management and progress chasing to ensure that relevant staff are informed in a timely fashion of actions, objectives and deadlines including meetings, minutes, diary management and project schedules.
In addition the Press and PR Co-ordinator will support the PR campaign for the BFI London Film Festival, with a focus on collating and monitoring press coverage. This includes liaising with third parties and assisting with press event logistics. You will also be required to work flexibly across all BFI activities depending on the needs of the department, and where appropriate will support social media activity.
To be successful in this role you’ll have excellent communication skills and be able to manage conflicting priorities to meet deadlines effectively.
