Policy Analyst

Salary: £36,024- £42,570 per annum

The BFI’s External Affairs Directorate is looking for an experienced Policy Analyst to join its policy team.

Reporting to the Senior Policy Manager this role will provide analysis and policy advice on UK government initiatives as they relate to the UK screen sector and the BFI’s own 2022 strategy.

The role-holder will work with stakeholders of all levels both internally and externally. They will contribute to the development of a clear strategic policy programme aligned with BFI and Government priorities to help secure the success of the UK’s screen sector.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced, complex policy environment and have an established network of contacts across Westminster. They will have a sound understanding of current public policy objectives and will be able to apply them to film and the wider screen industries, an ability to think creatively, navigate a broad range of issues and build and deliver policy solutions which will make a tangible impact.
