UK Jewish Film are looking for Customer Support Volunteers for the UK Jewish Film Festival 2021.
The 25th anniversary edition of the festival runs from 4-18 November, with a hybrid of cinema and online film screenings. Priority sales open for our members on 24 September, so we are looking for volunteers available from then until the end of the festival.
About the role
What tasks would you be doing?
- Answering the phone and providing customers with information about the Festival.
- Offering over-the-phone technical support to customers who are watching their films online at home.
- Selling tickets over the phone.
Training and helping to set up your laptop/computer to work remotely will be provided. Applicants would ideally be based in London.
Volunteers will receive a free Online Festival Pass which gives them access to all our online films for free.
About you
The attributes we seek in applicants are:
- a friendly, helpful manner
- a good awareness of at-home video streaming platforms
- good customer service
- a strong interest in film
- an interest in and awareness of UK Jewish Film’s activities including the Festival
Ideally, we are looking for volunteers who could help three days a week and are happy working on some weekends and evenings. Each shift is 4 hours long. If you cannot commit to that amount of time but are still interested, please still drop us a line as hours are flexible!
