New Wave Jury Members

Cornwall Film Festival is looking for 18-25yr olds who are interested in film, film criticism and film writing to join their New Wave Jury.

The New Wave Jury is a crucial part of the Cornwall Film Festival and its short-film competition. Every year we search for a group of young people between 18 years old and 25 years old to join the programme. By being part of this jury you will critically judge and select the winner and runner-up of the international short films category while attending industry-relevant meetings and discussions. Additionally, you will write a film review that will be later on published in the New Wave Jury Journal.

We are seeking young people from every background but with a great interest in cinema and film festivals. You must be based in the South West, and be able to attend the International shorts screening on 23rd November, 2024 as well as having great enthusiasm to talk and discuss cinema and its contexts.
