Mobile Cinema Operative

Salary: £100 per screening (negotiable)

CineMobile is seeking a conscientious cinema operative to set up and operate mobile cinema equipment.

Role responsibilities

This role involves driving a van (supplied) from the CineMobile base in West Sussex to various Wast and West Sussex locations to operate cinema evenings in community centres.

• Driving the van to the location
• Unloading DCP cinema equipment on self- powered trolley.
• Setup all projection and sound in the venue.
• Liaising with local contacts at the venue.
• Operating the DCP cinema equipment.

Person specifications

You will need to be a resourceful problem-solver with good people skills and be physically fit. AV experience would be useful but full training will be given.

This role may suit somebody self-employed. All screenings are in the evenings, and there are about 10-15 days per month available over a 2-week period. This could be up to 15 evenings per month.
