Showroom Workstation has an exciting, permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced marketing manager to join its creative and passionate Communications and Marketing team.
About Showroom Workstation
Showroom Workstation is an independent organisation and charity where ideas, initiative and enthusiasm are engaged. The building is located at the gateway to Sheffield city centre in a converted 1930s art deco car showroom and is home to Sheffield’s only media arts complex. Operating one of the UK’s largest independent cinemas, the venue also includes a popular café bar, conference and events facilities, and creative industries managed workspace.
About the role
The successful applicant will have exceptional organisational skills and creativity, delivering press and marketing campaigns for multiple business operations. The position will lead the development of online and offline marketing activity and manage a small team’s day-to-day internal and external communications.
The role of Marketing Manager is suitable for someone who thrives in a busy working environment and can confidently deal with multiple parallel projects on the go. Both managing and working alongside the department’s Digital and Marketing Coordinators, the successful candidate will help direct and support the team’s activity in promoting the Programming, Commercial, Conferencing and Workstation departments’ outputs, in a demanding yet very rewarding role.

Hours: 37 hours per week, usually Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work to facilitate the needs of the department, by prior agreement.
