Marketing Co-ordinator
London Korean Film Festival
London
Salary: £20,800 to £24,960 (pro rata)
The London Korean Film Festival completed its 12th edition last year with over 60 exciting screenings of both new and classic films, reflecting the festival’s impressive growth over the last decade. The festival began in 2006, as a basic presentation of feature films from South Korea, and since then the festival has expanded and grown in all aspects – numbers of films, events, venues – to meet wider audiences.
With the strong support of UK-based film professionals, each an expert in Korean film/world cinema, the festival presents a selection of films that we deem to represent the best of current Korean cinema: mainstream hits, art house gems, indie initiatives, archival classics, documentaries, short films, artist films and animations to name a few. Our diverse programme gives audiences the opportunity to consider the broader issues surrounding the film industries of both Korea and the UK today.
This year’s 13th London Korean Film Festival will again be a major leap forwards, with an even greater focus on accessibility and openness.
