Marketing Assistant

Salary: £21,000 per annum

Are you a documentary lover with a passion for marketing, creating innovative social media content and connecting with audiences through creative outreach strategies? Bertha DocHouse is looking for enthusiastic and creative Marketing Assistant to join our small  team at the UK’s first dedicated documentary cinema.

This is a full time, fixed term (1 year) role based at 7 Cavendish Square, London W1G 0PE (the cinema is off-site at Curzon Bloomsbury). Start date: Mon 20 May 2019.

Job description:

• To assist the Marketing Manager with the timely sourcing of assets, and with the maintaining of orderly records of received materials and useful marketing contacts.
• To update the website as needed, and assist with the creation and scheduling of social media content.
• To take a leading role on researching outreach for films that require more bespoke marketing, and assist with wider reporting objectives.
• The role will support and deliver work for all facets of the marketing operation.
