Salary: £26,353 per annum

Film Hub Wales is recruiting for a Marketing and Outreach Officer.

Film Hub Wales celebrates cinema. It supports organisations that screen film, from film festivals, to societies and mixed arts centres. Working with over 315 Welsh exhibitors, it aims to bring the best British and international film to all audiences across Wales and the UK.

Film Hub Wales is part of a UK wide network of eight hubs funded by the British Film Institute (BFI) which form the Film Audience Network (FAN), with Chapter appointed as the ‘Film Hub Lead Organisation’ (FHLO) in Wales.

Film Hub Wales is also proud to lead the UK Inclusive Cinema strategy on behalf of BFI FAN.

Purpose of the role

To support the Hub and its members to develop audiences for British independent and world cinema across Wales through marketing and outreach activity. This includes a specific ‘spotlight’ project in a select region of Wales (region TBC).

Key details

• Contract: April 2023 – April 2026, subject to confirmation of annual funding
• Hours: 40 hours per week (TOIL). Some evening and weekend work necessary
• Location: Based in the office at Chapter in Cardiff. Film Hub Wales offers a hybrid working model which means that you can also work from home when possible
