The BFI is looking for a Studio and Branding Lead to lead on the provision of all design and print production requirements across the BFI London Film Festival (in consultation with the Studio Manager).

They will ensure the best value-to-quality ratio and timely delivery of marketing outputs, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders and oversee the branding, design and production of all key digital and print assets across Festival galas, events and venues. 

BFI London Film Festival (LFF) runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival.

Role responsibilities
  • Working with the Festivals Marketing team to scope and assess design requirements from key internal stakeholders at all levels, negotiating and proposing solutions, and project managing their timely delivery
  • Setting and reviewing priorities and managing the workflow of design projects according to the design schedule and LFF marketing project plan
  • Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships at a senior level, negotiating effectively to ensure relationships remain fruitful and friendly. Particularly key will be building a close and positive working relationship with the LFF Production team
  • Overseeing the coordination of internal and external feedback, approvals and delivery of design and branding, in close collaboration with the Festivals Marketing team 
Person specifications
  • Demonstrable knowledge of and experience in print/design/production management or marketing account handling
  • Proven experience and expertise to lead on digital-first, results-driven and creative marketing campaigns and activities in the film, TV, XR / immersive, gaming, culture, arts or media sector
  • Excellent project management experience with the ability to establish, implement and refine processes and schedules and to set and manage shifting priorities
  • Strong organisational and project management skills and the ability to prioritise, to delegate, to meet deadlines and to manage several projects simultaneously
