LFF Junior Press Officer (x2)

Salary: £31,326 per annum

The BFI is looking for two Junior Press Officers who, working as an integral part of the Festival PR team, will support the delivery of the PR campaign for a world class Festival, working with the in-house Press team as well as the Delegate Services team and marketing and programme colleagues.

BFI London Film Festival (LFF) runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival.

Role responsibilities

• Working with the BFI Festival PR Manager and Press Officer across press delegate ticket allocation for public tickets, including ticket ballot applications on the website; organising ballot applications within an extremely tight deadline and contacting all successful applicants 
• Working closely with the BFI Festivals PR Manager and the Press Officer, on all activities facilitating the press and publicity campaign for the BFI London Film Festival, in the lead up to as well as during the Festival itself 
• Give support in managing general press accreditation enquiries whilst the application cycle is open 
• Assisting on specific LFF PR activities, events and projects (such as the LFF Critics Mentorship Programme and Filmmaker Afternoon Teas), where appropriate and required, to include media liaison, email correspondence and event support 

Person specifications

• Demonstrable previous experience gained in a similar PR role, preferably within the film industry
• Demonstrable experience in information and data management 
• Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and to manage and meet deadlines
