The BFI is seeking Guest Transport & Logistics Coordinators to join their Festivals team for the 67th BFI London Film Festival and support the Guest Transport Manager and Festival Production Manager with the delivery of a wide variety of events.
LFF is the UK’s leading film event and one of the world’s major film festivals, attracting significant international industry participation. It’s also one of the BFI’s major cultural activities in the year introducing the finest global cinema to expanding London and UK-wide audiences.
Key responsibilities
- Assume day-to-day responsibility for assigned areas of the Festival’s Guest Transport service and create and update festival spreadsheets and databases in an accurate, consistent and comprehensive manner.
- Constantly monitor the schedule for car pick-ups/drop-offs, communicating and working with the Programme & Guest Services team and using information available on the database to ensure information and schedules are always fully up to date.
- Liaise with filmmakers, talent representatives, and special event guests regarding transfers between airports, hotels and London cinemas. As directed, co-ordinate ground transport with Festival colleagues for special public events, Industry events, and Education events.
Experience & skills
- Demonstrable and significant previous administrative experience gained within a cultural organisation in a similar role.
- Demonstrable experience of working on a film festival, in a cinema or gallery space, or venue with supervisory responsibilities.
- Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and to manage and meet deadlines.
