The BFI is looking for a Venue Coordinator to join the London Film Festival team.
We are looking for a number of Venue Coordinators to act as the central point of contact for filmmaker guest and operations staff at our partner cinemas during the 65th BFI London Film Festival.
The Venue Coordinators will be the face of the Festival at their designated cinema site. They will support the smooth rehearsal and delivery of cinema presentations, guest hospitality and transport, and promptly report operational issues to LFF management.
The ideal candidate will have two years’ experience of working on a film festival or in a cinema or venue with supervisory responsibilities. They will also be proactive and customer focused with excellent communication skills. Technical experience of operating live microphones and a working knowledge of modern film formats is also required.
The ability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend work during the Festival, is essential to the role.
