Wicked Wales International Youth Film Festival is looking for people aged 15-29 to become Jury Members for the upcoming edition of their festival.
Wicked Wales International Youth Festival supports and showcases the work of talented young people from Wales and around the globe.
Role details
- Voluntary role, but jury members will be compensated with an invitation to the festival, inclusion in the festival brochure, a recommendation letter, and a certificate at the end of the role.
- Jury members will be asked to attend three meetings between August and October
- All meetings will happen virtually, but jury members will eb invited to attend the 2025 festival in Rhyl, Wales.

Role responsibilities
The WWIYFF jury plays an important role by watching, scoring and ranking the films submitted to the festival.
Over the course of the role, there will be a “get to know you” online call, after which members will be divided into groups and allocated a selection of between 15 to 30 short films.
Teams will then meet again to discuss and rank the films, which will be used to create the final festival programme. It’s a lot of fun and a great way to network and watch some new international films!
Person specifications
Applicants must be aged 15 to 29 and have a passion for cinema.
