Industry Events Programmer & Coordinator
Salary: £29,055 - £34,338
This new position will work as part of the BFI London Film Festival Events team to develop and deliver a vibrant, urgent and exciting industry events programme.
Working closely with the Production and Events Manager and the Festival Director you will devise a diverse and engaging programme of industry-facing events that differentiate the Festival in terms of quality of content – one that draws on the expertise of visiting international Festival guests and partners, and also key UK industry professionals to celebrate excellence in practice, explore urgent issues facing the industry and stimulate future thinking.
You will have at least 3 years’ of demonstrable experience working for a film festival or closely related cultural industry environment and an in depth knowledge of the UK and international film industry, with relevant contacts built across the cultural sector. You will also have demonstrable experience of programming and delivering a multi-event film industry focused programme.
