In-House Publicity Manager

Salary: Salary dependent on experience

Vertigo Releasing – the UK’s leading independent film distribution company has an exciting vacancy for an In-house Publicity Manager, overseeing theatrical, home entertainment and corporate strategies.

The ideal candidate will have 2/3 years experience of working within the film industry in a publicist role – either in house or agency, be dynamic, forward thinking, excellent planner and proven record of working with talent at all level.

Snapshot of the job role:

• Manage, develop and prepare publicity strategies for lifecycle of film releases from theatrical to home entertainment;
• Determine audience and consumer targets according to specific film titles;
• Research and develop a comprehensive strategy alongside external agencies;
• Recommend and prepare innovative and achievable home entertainment campaigns;
• Have contacts with film journalists;
• Working knowledge of all core social media platforms.
