Salary: £37,374 - £44,163 per annum

The BFI is seeking a Programme Manager to lead on the planning and delivery of the public programme for BFI IMAX.

This role will play a crucial part in us reaching commercial and audience development targets to reinforce the position of BFI IMAX as one of the world’s leading blockbuster film venues.

Key responsibilities
  • Working co-operatively and in partnership with studio and distribution partners. This will include key IMAX feature film distributors on maximising significant film releases, negotiating the best possible license fees and seeking to grow the BFI IMAX’s market share. 
  • Planning and delivering thematic and franchise related all-nighters and other one-off special events.
  • Keeping an up to date and dynamic slate document so that BFI are completely across all IMAX releases.
The BFI is seeking someone who has:
  • Significant and proven experience working in a commercial film exhibition or cultural venue environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in the film industry with a good knowledge of contemporary and historical film and television.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels.
  • Experience of analysing sales reports.
