We are seeking a Head of Film Academy Programmes to lead our Film Academy Programmes. The Film Academy aims to secure progression routes for those seeking film related skills and grow the pipeline of a diverse and inclusive workforce for the screen industry, including film, TV, animation and gaming.
About BFI Film Academy
The Head of Film Academy Programme plays an important role in devising the strategic direction of all BFI UK wide Film Academy programmes to ensure continual development and innovation within both our core and supplementary programme, including emerging international and commercial opportunities.
With persuasive communication skills, experience of working with and sound understanding of funding processes and procedures and a successful track-record in planning, budget and project management, you will be confident in initiating, developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships to ensure that we secure ongoing Government funding and support for the Film Academy, develop a more cohesive relationship between industry and education and use international best practice to help shape world class programme design and delivery.
As this is a funded role we are seeking to offer the successful candidate a 2 year fixed term contract initially with a view to extend subject to continued funding.
