Festival Marketing Advisor (Advertising and Partnerships)

Salary: £31,293 - £36,774 per annum (pro-rata)

The BFI is seeking a Marketing Advisor (Advertising and Partnerships) to lead on the delivery of the digital-first advertising campaign and media partnerships for the BFI London Film Festival (LFF).

Fixed Term Contract: 3 July to 20 October 2023

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships at a senior level, negotiating effectively to ensure relationships remain fruitful and friendly.
  • Line managing the Festival Marketing Coordinator (Design and Advertising), ensuring they are supported and that all responsibilities are completed on time.
  • Working with the Festivals Marketing Manager to maximise ticket sales to meet box office and attendance targets across the public, industry and education programmes.
  • Leading on delivery of the cross-channel advertising campaign across digital, OOH, print and advertorial – including agency management, asset delivery and performance reporting.
We are looking for candidates who have:
  • Proven experience and expertise to lead on digital-first, results-driven and creative marketing campaigns and activities in the film, TV, XR / immersive, culture or arts sector.
  • Knowledge and interest in contemporary international film, series and immersive storytelling.
    Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of UK and/or international film industry, and the role of film festivals.
  • Experience of negotiating with colleagues, external suppliers and contacts at a senior level.
