Events Coordinator (Seasonal support)

Salary: £29,748 - £31,557 per annum

The BFI is looking for an Events Coordinator to join the BFI’s Fundraising & Enterprise Events team on a fixed term contract until October 2024. The Events Coordinator will provide administrative support to the year-round cultivation and stewardship programme of events, support for the biennial BFI LUMINOUS Gala and events across the BFI London Film Festival (October 2024).

Key responsibilities include:

  • To support the delivery of the Fundraising & Enterprise Events Team’s year-round events, including BFI National Archive Tours, Preview Screenings for Patrons & Donors, BFI LUMINOUS Gala, VIP receptions & events around the BFI London Film Festival.
  • To be the RSVP and coordinate guest lists for Fundraising & Enterprise events (year-round and during BFI London Film Festival).
  • Support the Fundraising & Enterprise events team as required with other administrative areas of event delivery such as meetings, emails, note taking and event schedules.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Knowledge and appreciation of large-scale, fundraising or donor events within the cultural and charity sectors.
  • Demonstrable experience with ticketing systems, coordinating guest lists, invitations and RSVPs
  • Experience of working in a team in a high-pressure environment
  • Communication and presentation skills with the ability to liaise effectively with external stakeholders and service providers.
